Improving cellular reception inside an RV, Trailer, Bus, etc.

There are a few options for improving a cellular signal inside an RV, Trailer, Bus or similiar sized vehicle. Each system requires that you mount an antenna outside the vehicle, run cable inside and attach to an amplifier then, connect an inside antenna to the amplifier. The main differences between the options is the amount of coverage you can expect inside the vehicle.

Options

Wilson SOHO System

The Wilson Small Office / Home Office (SOHO) cellular amplifier system can be used in RV type vehicles to cover larger areas. You must get at least 25 feet (preferably more) of seperation between the inside and outside antennas. This is physcial seperation between the 2 antennas and not cable length. If you cannot get this long a speration, we recommed a shorter range system like the Wilsom Mobile 3 Watt system (below). The inside antenna should be pointed away from the outside antenna.

Wilson Mobile Wireless 3 Watt Cellular Signal Booster

The Wilson Mobile Wireless 3 Watt signal booster will cover a few feet from the inside antenna depending on the signal strength outside.

Wilson Mobile Professional Signal Booster

The Wilsom Mobile Professional is a smaller, more portable cellular booster. It's not as strong as other signal boosters but it is easiest to move from vehicle to vehicle to home to office.
